Vendor Knight Hirano Great is a Local Hero series with the main character Ryoma Shiozaki. He is a vending machine operator for the Hirano Shoji company who incarnated as local hero Hirano Great.

A vending machine operator for the Hirano Shoji company, Ryoma took great pride in filling his vending machine with only quality products. When Fear Bison, a representative of the Nodoka Works beverage company, attempted to get Ryoma to allow their flagship beverage “Evil Orange” inside his vending machines, Ryoma refused due to it being a low value product made cheaply so it would be easy to produce.

Because of this, two executives were sent from Nodoka Works HQ, Junkuga and Ushiora, to help him meet his quota.

The two confronted Ryoma over his refusal to sell their products and pushed Fear Bison to do battle against him, but Ryoma pulled out a soda can from his vending machine and used it to transform into Hirano Great to do battle against the Nodoka Works kaijin. Hirano Great fought off Fear Bison, prompting him to retreat with Junkuga and Ushiora.
