Legend Hero Samgugjeon is a Korean tokusatsu television series. Produced by MoonWatcher and Synergy Media. The Series is broadcasted in EBS.
Legend Hero Samgugjeon is heavily based off of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Many elements of the original story are carried over to the show. Many characters share names and attributes with characters of the original story. Several events in the show are also based on events in the classic story.
” In the beginning when the universe was being made, many heroes fought to have this world. It is the legend of a deep history. It is the story of another world. New heroes are born, inheriting the names of the heroes of the legend. We call them ‘Legend Heroes’.”
Liu Bei is a naive and unlucky young man who was adopted by the master of the Flying Dragon Fist Dojo. His life takes an unexpected turn when Xu Shu, one of the many Spirits sent from heaven to supervise the Dream Battle reveals he was the inheritor of one of the many Legend Heroes. With Legend Hero Guan Yu in hand and his wish of saving his master’s Dojo, Liu Bei must fight not only for the sake of the memories of his own wish but also the world where one of the spirits plans to seize control of it.
