The Iron Superman is a 1975 Hong Kong-Japanese tokusatsu film directed by Kwok Ting-Hung and Hiroyuki Maekawa and written by Koichi Takano, Kiyoshi Suzuki, and Kwok Ting-Hung.
The Iron Superman
Produced by Chang’s Film Co. and Senkosha Productions, Iron Superman is the first Hong Kong-Japanese tokusatsu co-production and stars Stephen Yip Tin-Hang, Jamie Luk Kim-Ming, Paul Chun-Pui, Maggie Li Lin-Lin, and Leung Siu-Wah.
It combines newly shot footage with footage shot by Koichi Takano for Super Robot Mach Baron and was released to Taiwanese theaters on July 21st, 1975, with it later being released in Lebanon, West Germany, Spain, and Israel in the following years.
